After surviving a shipwreck, Viola disguises herself as a man named Cesario to find work and safety. She ends up in the service of Duke Orsino, who is hopelessly in love with the noble Lady Olivia. But here’s the twist: Olivia falls head-over-heels for Cesario (who’s really Viola), while Viola secretly falls for Orsino. Cue the chaos.
Meanwhile, a group of mischievous characters - Sir Toby, Maria, and the foolish Sir Andrew - plot a hilarious prank on Olivia’s uptight steward, Malvolio, leading to one of Shakespeare’s most iconic comic downfalls.
Full of mistaken identities, gender-bending disguises, drunken revelry, and unexpected romance, Twelfth Night is a fast-paced, feel-good comedy that reminds us: love makes fools of us all.

Nach einem Schiffsunglück rettet sich Viola an Land und hält ihren Bruder für tot. Um sich zu schützen, verkleidet sie sich als Mann und nennt sich Cesario. So tritt sie in den Dienst von Herzog Orsino, der unsterblich in die Gräfin Olivia verliebt ist. Doch Olivia verliebt sich ausgerechnet in Cesario – also in Viola in Männerkleidung! Und als wäre das nicht genug, entwickelt Viola heimlich Gefühle für Orsino.
Während das Liebesdreieck immer verworrener wird, toben im Haushalt von Olivia eigene Intrigen: Der schrullige Sir Toby, die schlaue Maria und der tölpelhafte Sir Andrew spielen dem hochnäsigen Haushofmeister Malvolio einen bitterbösen Streich.

Subject to availability, tickets can be reserved online up to two hours before the performance and collected and paid for up to 20 minutes before the performace starts. The box office opens 45 minutes before the performance commences. Unreserved tickets will be available to buy on the evening of the performance.

Tickets can be collected and purchased from 19:15 on the day of the performance.
All performances commence at 20:00. We kindly ask you to arrive in good time as once the performance has started it may not be possible to admit latecomers. Latecomers may be admitted at our discretion at a suitable break in the play.
