The English playwright Christopher Marlowe is thought to have written the play shortly before his death in 1593. The full title of the original play is “The Tragical History of the Life and Death of Doctor Faustus”, a classic tragedy that explores the themes of knowledge, power and sacrifice.
Dr. Faustus is a tragic exploration of ambition, knowledge, and the human soul by Christopher Marlowe. The play follows Doctor Faustus, a brilliant scholar who, dissatisfied with traditional learning, turns to dark magic in search of ultimate power. The box office opens 45 minutes before the performance commences. Unreserved tickets will be available to buy on the evening of the performance.

All performances commence at 20:00. We kindly ask you to arrive in good time as once the performance has started it may not be possible to admit latecomers. Latecomers may be admitted at our discretion at a suitable break in the play.
